In Spanish we don´t say on Monday we use the article instead: el if we are
speaking about one day, and los if we are speaking about the same day during many weaks:
El lunes me voy a Barcelona
= On Monday I go to Barcelona
Los martes tengo clase de francés = Every Monday I have a French lesson
Note that the plural of lunes, martes,...., viernes coincides
with the singular.
Remember these expressions:
una semana – a week
el fin de semana – on the weekend
este lunes – this Monday
los fines de semana – each weekend
entre semana – on the week days
de lunes a viernes – from Monday to Friday
