Sometimes we mention twice the same object, in this case, we omit the noun and we add one instead:
I like the red skirt, and I don´t like much the blue one
In Spanish it´s similar: we omit the noun, and we mantain the determinant and the adjective:
– Este vestido blanco es muy bonito – This white dress is very beautiful
– El verde (=el vestido verde) también es muy bonito – The green one is beautiful too
We can omit the noun also with subordinate clauses:
– Esta chica que lleva un pantalón vaquero parece muy guapa – This girl that wears jeans seems very cute
– Esa que lleva una falda verde también es muy guapa – The one that wears a green skirt is very cute too
